Appropriate that the first picture is a bit blurry (this one was taken on my computer's built-in camera, during a power outage on a stormy, tornado-warning kind of night this summer) as I enter the unknown world of blogging with only a fuzzy, fledgling knowledge of what writing a blog might come to mean. I chose the title to reflect the last page of the 'real' Pooh, where we see that even the ordinary can be delightful. It's all in the attitude! (What did you have for breakfast today?)

The conductor of POLARIS, a chorus I sang in the last couple of years, starts each season asking members to share what they had for breakfast that day. It's a surprisingly telling 'mixer'!
